Silver Strike Concrete is partnering with sister company Folsom Ready Mix to continue to provide critical concrete deliveries for the Mosquito Road Bridge project, as construction progresses on the towering piers and foundation structures that will support the new bridge’s dramatic span.
The project, located northeast of Placerville, has moved well beyond initial foundation work. Crews with Shimmick Construction are now building up the vertical elements that will anchor the two-lane bridge over the steep canyon. Silver Strike Concrete has been on-site throughout, delivering high-performance concrete mixes designed to meet the structural demands of this challenging location.
